Saturday, November 5
We woke up early and got packed up to go south to Salobrena.
This was the view out of our first apartment.
And the people either waking up or going to bed.
Since the noise never stopped I wasn't ever sure which it was.
We walked downtown, caught the Metro, walked to the car rental place and got our car.
Saw a lot of these big cut outs as we drove along.
Ashley did an awesome job navigating us out of the city and onto the Auto Via.
There were olive trees everywhere, on every piece of land. You could smell the olives.
Ashley is making me a scarf...
A steep and winding highway.
Five hours later...Salobrena and the sea.
And the sun...which we hadn't seen in 5 days.
This is the beautiful view from our hotel balcony.
But this was the best view! All three girls together.
Their room was one floor up and one balcony over from ours.
We explored around to see what there was in our hotel and ...
found a cool popcorn machine...
the coffee bar...
Then Bobbi went exploring on her own and found this lovely little cove down the side of the cliff that the hotel sits on.
Here she is showing her sister's where it is.
Supper was served at 8. It was delicious.
So ended Saturday.
