The Animals -

The other evening, while playing with my new camera, I was trying to get good shots of the horses...Montana does not cooperate. He is so curious that as soon as you walk out he gets as close as possible to see what you are up to. Not helpful. Then you get awkward, really close nose shots. But I did get a some shots of the animals around the place.

 Montana is seriously watching Bryan stalk the muskrat...

And the little ones are growing up. Shorty Jr., Chatty Kathy, Happy and Speedy. Still in the cage in the barn. They are super spastic when you are in there, though. So weird. 

And if you look closely at the center of the picture you can see the puff of smoke from Bryan's shot at the muskrat. They have almost ruined our lawn down by the pond and they bore holes in the dam and compromise it so they must be dealt with. Besides it is always great fun to watch a muskrat hunt.
