On Friday we put the windows back in the VW. Nothing is ever as easy as they make it look on the instructional videos but...we did it and they look awesome.
We had the Esprit Reunion party out here and that was a nice time.
Not too many kids came though. I was surprised.
Then Saturday Bobbi, Jayme and I went to Grand Island to Island Oasis. It was a beautiful day and very fun. Although everyone in Grand Island had the same idea... Then we went shopping a couple of places, ate at Buffalo Wild Wings and headed home. We drove into the tail end of a wind storm that hit Lincoln (north side). There were tree branches and trees down all over the north side of town. Not much once we crossed South Street.
But we drove facing a huge rainbow and some amazing clouds the whole way home.
While shopping I found two new best friends...
A little purple French Press Coffee maker...
And these new boots.
Must admit I was hoping for a nice cool fall like day so I could wear them...
